Moxy Lux is the result of a profound personal shift and a purposeful new direction. In early 2025, a commitment to sobriety and a renewed dedication to wellness sparked a surge of transformative energy within me—and a deep desire to build something meaningful with it.
I have always believed in the power of a cup of coffee to foster connection and clarity. Guided by intuition and this newfound momentum, I bypassed the status quo to teach myself the art of roasting, turning a personal daily ritual into a professional craft. What began as a curiosity quickly became an obsession with the bean, the flame, and the flavor.

Moxy Lux is a small-batch, boutique roaster by design. What began as a quest to master the art of the bean has evolved into a dedicated practice focused on purity and vibrance. From meticulously sourced Single Region beans to signature Radiant Blends, every roast is personally overseen in a Winston-Salem studio. By roasting in small, intentional batches, the result is coffee that is refined, fresh, and multi-dimensional.
